Event Health Services

Victorian Medical Assistance Team is able to provide Event Organisers with a guaranteed, unparalleled alternative to the traditional volunteer based first aid services model. Depending on your needs, we are able to provide your event with Doctors, Nurses and Advanced Responders, with each event being staffed by a minimum of one health care professional.

Bringing qualified health care professionals to the event environment provides a higher level of patient assessment, management and overall care. VMAT is experienced in providing event health services to a wide range of events including but not limited to school carnivals, sporting events, concerts as well as high risk motorsport based events. We are able to work in partnership with you to tailor a complete solution package that will meet the specific requirements of your next event.

This position reduces the possibility of additional injuries to these regions during extrication. This device is utilised for maintaining spinal alignment whilst extricating a person from a motor vehicle.

Depending on the patients condition, VMAT is able to administer a wide range of medications.

A vacuum mattress, or Vacmat, is a medical device used for the immobilisation of patients, It consists of a sealed polymer bag (larger than an adult human body) that encloses small polystyrene balls, with a valve, straps and handles. It is washable and X-ray compatible.

The industry-leading Stryker Stretcher sets the standard for superior performance and outstanding ergonomics. This stretcher is designed not only for patient comfort and safety but easy operator use as well.
